1. The tournament is sanctioned and will be governed by the rules of Tennis
Ireland
2. Entries will not be accepted unless made on the official entry form or on the web together with the appropriate fees. No telephone entries accepted.
3. Competitors must be under the stated age on 31st December 2006.
4. The draw will take place at Landsdowne L.T.C. once the entries are closed. All events are seeded except under 10 events. These may be played as a Round Robin.
5. The rated draw as approved by Tennis Ireland i.e. bringing the seeds forward in the draw, may be used in each singles event having more than 24 entries.
6. Matches are the best of three sets. Tie break applies in all three sets and Advantage will be played.
7. Play will commence at 9.00am and finish at 6.00pm each day.
8. Competitors may enter for a maximum of 3 events, i.e. one singles, one doubles and one mixed doubles. Plate events will be held weather and demand permitting. Competitors not present at time of play will be disqualified.
9. It is the responsibility of the competitors to ascertain their times of play.
10. Artificial grass surface will be used. More than one venue may be used.
11. The Tennis Ireland code of conduct will be strictly enforced.
12. Recognised tennis attire must be worn - no tennis shoes with black soles.
13. Doubles entry only accepted with a nominated partner.
14. No complaint in connection with the conduct of the tournament can be entertained by the committee unless made in writing and lodged with the tournament committee within 48 hours of the event.
15. No late entries will be accepted. In ALL matters of dispute the decisions of the Tournament Referee are final. Tretorn Balls will be used
